Fantastic Dutch Mid Century Modern design ceramic in the form of a UFO lamp - including the original Herda adjustable fitting and ceiling rose*

The volcanic lava is wonderfully tactile; thickly applied white semi-gloss glaze is interspersed with a dark chocolate brown.

The semi-matte deep pumpkin orange glaze is evocative if the time, and is reassuringly warm and comforting too.
