The ceramic design is "Jubileum" (2340), with a pattern called "Risotto".
Designed by Eystein Sandnes (1924-2006), for Porsgrunds of Norway. It was in production from the late 1950s, until the mid 1960s.
It is an early design by Sandes who eventually became director for the company. An influential Norwegian designer who was recognised by he Norwegian Design Council who awarded his designs throughout the 1960s, into the 1970s.
His work is held by museums in Norway, Europe, and the USA. Including the Victoria Albert Musuem, London UK.
