An expressive piece of glassmaking , organic form, from the 1970s by Rudolf Jurnikl, who at this time was exploring the design possibilities in pressed glass.
During this period he explored the motif of the flower - from concrete to more expressive forms. this piece clearly outlines the symmetry of flower petals.

A wonderful colour, with some bubbles in the glass which provide an ephemeral feeling to the pressed glass.
