A bowl from contemporary Irish designer artist Lucinda Robertson. This design is from 2000.  Beautiful, the colour pivots and breaths.

Her work reflects the influence of Scandinavian aesthetics (and its technical glass making)

Lucinda’s early glassmaking studies led her to a period at the National School of Glass in Orrefors, Sweden.

Their work captures the rhythm and process of its making.

Her making process, including this bowl, often includes working with an assistant - almost a work of choreography.
