Caithness Glass, Scotland 'Tempest' Range from 1998 Scandinavian Style Very Rare

A super art glass vase, by Caithness Glass, Scotland.
 From the 'Tempest' 1998.

Designed and produced in the original Wick factory by Jimmy Manson, and Gordon Hendry.

It is a beautifully evocative piece of glass making. With the ‘tempest’ swirling up from its paperweight base, into the body of the vase.

The design is featured in the book on Caithness Glass: Loch, Heather & Peat (p121)

Caithness glass making, with its links to Scandinavian glass of the time, deserves to be in the collection here.
