A striking set of 6 G Plan teak dining chairs from the Fresco range, designed by Leslie Dandy in the 1960s.
Defined by tapering backs and gently curved rear legs, these chairs are among the most recognisable designs from the Fresco range.
Recently reupholstered in an Italian polka-dot cut velvet — the same optical circle-and-diamond design currently sold by the Italian luxury house FirmaMenta — in mustard and grey tones that complement the warm teak and afromosia contrast of the frame while staying sympathetic to the period.
The frames have been cleaned and lightly conserved, retaining the patina acquired through decades of use.
