A very rare mid century dressing table from the UK which mixes the style of Vittorio Dassi in Italy with Gplan modernism, and Scandinavian style. . It has a glamorous feel with the two inbuilt lighting units, which sit above each side mirror.
Manufactured in the late 1950’s early 1960s, using teak/mahogany with contrasting sycamore detail and drawers with brass pull handles.
It consists of two elements: cabinet and mirror. Which helps with its move-ability. It is quiet and compact unit.
With 6 drawers in the base, and the central mirror: the two side mirrors conceal cabinets. When opened the mirror doors can be positioned to give an almost a 360 degree view of the sitter.
The console is in excellent condition having been carefully restored with some minor repairs to the veneer. And professionally polished.
