Tapio Wirkkala's porcelain Pollo (Owl) vase is a sculptural piece which balances and rocks on its rounded bottom - depending if it has a posy or not.

Beautiful detailing, Rows of raised dots emanate from the imagined 'neck' opening that sits to one end of the body of the bird-shaped vase.

 It is a refined piece of work. Delicate and infinity pleasing to the eye. Designed and produced in 1970.

Comes without box  (or brick!)
