A rare large version of the Sklo Union Rosice Glass 'lens' Vase by Rudolf Schrotter.

A kingfisher blue pressed glass vase. Made by the Rosice glassworks, part of the Sklo Union group. The vase is a good example of the myriad of interpretations of modernism.

Not the definitive, straight lines often represented in Scandinavian design; but more stylised, with a clear link to the past. It echoes the designs of the 1930s

Designed by Rudolf Schrotte, who designed a smaller version of this vase - catalogued as vase #974.
