Evoking the 1960s and 70s, a sinuous, organic, and wonderfully sensuous glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.
It has a original L Nason label in place. The label probably designates the importer / reseller, rather than the maker. The glass was produced in the 1970s 80s.
The design is a lovely flowing juxtaposition of purple red glass encased in blue glass, using the Sommerso technique which is synonymous with Venetian glassmaking.
