Dramatic Freeform 1960s Japanese Glass Vase

A beautifully made vase from by the Iwatsu glassworks. A very rare elegant design with beautiful cranberry accents in its cased glass form.

It is a grest piece from the Osaka based glass makers.

Has a broken bubble on the surface from the making but it unnoticeable.

Japan and Scandinavia have a long interlocking history of glass making, and using the natural environment as a source of inspiration.

Measures approx. 10.5cm wide at the top x 21.5cm tall. Weighs approx 930gms.
