Made in Sweden, a rare, and beautifully balanced glass design from Ryd Glasbruk of Sweden
A small Scandinavian glass maker, based in Sweden, it closed down in the 1980s.
They produced mainly bespoke designs for leading department stores: from the 1960s until they closed production. In which time they commissioned some of the leading glass makers of the time to create fine glass objects.
This particular design is very rare, with orange glass casing a very fine, gossamer like, white lining. The vase retains its original label. Itself a wonderful piece of graphic design.
