Tapio Wirkkala Coffee Service for Rosenthal ‘Variation’ 1970s

This coffee service was designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Rosenthal in the 1960s, called ‘Variation,’ with his signature on the saucers.

It is a beautiful pure, bone china, white with its organic, rustic markings. This particular set is from 1974/75

One coffee pot, H 22 cm.

Six coffee cups, H 7 cm.

Six saucers, Ø 14 cm.

Base with manufacturer’s marks and partly signed ‘Wirkkala’.
