G Plan Fresco Extending Oval Teak Dining Table, Circa 1960s

A family-friendly G Plan Fresco dining table that comfortably seats four, extending to accommodate six—or eight at a squeeze. The oval top, gently rounded edge and slender tapered legs give it a modernist outline without feeling austere. Warm teak and expressive grain soften the geometry, complemented by the curved apron beneath.

The two halves slide apart to reveal a folding extension leaf stored within the table, increasing its length from 163cm to 209cm. The original G Plan label remains beneath.

Why it works

The rounded ends give everyone around the table a comfortable relationship to one another, while the inset legs leave the perimeter visually open. A substantial dining surface with a light, balanced appearance.

Condition

Very good condition. Gently renovated with shellac and Danish oil.
