A trio of G Plan Quadrille nesting tables in solid teak, stamped and labelled to the underside. Part of G Plan’s celebrated 1960s range attributed to Victor Wilkins, whose sculptural, bowed-leg frames and “floating” negative space set the Quadrille line apart from the more conventional stacking tables of the period — arguably the high point of the form.
Each table diminishes cleanly into the next, the shaped frames locking together in profile as much as in function — as comfortable stacked as a still life as they are pulled apart and put to work.
Condition: Minor abuses have been corrected — the 60s was a time of cappuccinos, and red wine. Presented with a hand-finished wax polish to bring out the grain and unify the sheen across all three tops.
