A 1960s G Plan coffee table from the Fresco range, designed by Victor Wilkins and introduced in 1967.
The Fresco range carries the Scandinavian influence that ran through G Plan’s design language at the time — splayed, tapered legs, a floating top with inset glass panel, and a lightness of form that owes more to Danish cabinetmaking than to traditional English joinery.
Teak throughout, with the maker’s mark present on the base. Light surface wear consistent with age and honest use — no losses, veneer intact, structurally sound.
