Restored mid-century Scandinavian teak chair with a three-slat back and webbed seat, c.1960s. Versatile as a desk or dressing-table chair, or a light occasional seat.

The clean lines and light frame are typical of Swedish makers such as Svegards Markaryd, who produced chairs for export in the 1960s.

The frame has been carefully checked and refinished, with tight joints and a warm teak grain. The jute webbing beneath the seat provides resilience and comfort, complementing the simplicity of the design.

Unmarked, as many imported examples were, but very much in line with the Swedish approach: functional, durable, and quietly modern.
