A beautifully sculpted mid-century teak divided bowl with an arched brass handle. Its clean lines, warm timber, and mixed-material construction are strongly reminiscent of the Carl Auböck workshop aesthetic — a modernist spirit with tactile, hand-finished beauty - it’s a personal favourite.
This example is unsigned, but clearly made with skill and a strong sense of proportion.
Carved from solid teak with a central divider in cedar, and finished with a graceful brass handle pinned neatly into the block. The underside shows contrasting teak sections, a detail often found in studio-made mid-century work.
A functional object with real sculptural presence.
