This large-format screenprint reproduces his 1921 Composition — one of the defining works of De Stijl, the Dutch movement that gave modernism its grammar. Red, yellow, blue, black, white. The print is on Arches — the French mould-made paper used by serious print publishers and fine art editions throughout the twentieth century. Not a poster. The Arches watermark is visible on the verso. Printed by screenprint, the ink sitting in the paper’s surface with the depth and texture that offset reproduction cannot replicate.
