A complete Uniflex F-Range bedroom suite. Dressing table, blanket chest, and stool — all three pieces, all from the same range, all carrying the same design signature: a circle, cut clean through solid teak.
That circular motif isn’t decoration. It’s the grammar of the suite. Running across each piece, it makes the set immediately readable as a designed whole rather than an accidental grouping. Documented in the original period catalogue advert, which accompanies the pieces.
Uniflex were a British manufacturer working in the 1960s at an interesting cultural intersection — absorbing the Scandinavian lessons of material honesty and formal clarity while the wider culture was thinking in systems. Modular, considered, precise. The F-Range sits squarely in that moment.
The dressing table — flip-top mirror, interior jewellery storage, white drawer fronts with teak knobs. Practical and well-resolved.
The blanket chest — generous storage, upholstered top, the circular cutout ends the defining detail.
The stool — the motif distilled to its simplest form. Freshly recovered in period-sympathetic fabric.
All three pieces are in very good vintage condition. Sympathetically conserved — bumps and bruises addressed, patina retained. Sold as a suite; individual pieces also available on request.
