A finely proportioned side table in solid oak, originally made in the 1930s, Art-Deco design. The structure is spare and architectural — four squared legs and a framed lower shelf, built with the quiet assurance of pre-war modernism.
The top was re-finished in the 1960s with a vivid orange Formica surface, adding a flash of mid-century optimism to its grounded oak frame. Together they create a rare hybrid: early modern craftsmanship updated with post-war colour and practicality.
The piece has been carefully cleaned and finished in our workshop, retaining its original patina while ready for everyday use — beside a reading chair, sofa, or as a small lamp table.
