The Kaufmann Office was Frank Lloyd Wright’s last major interior — designed for Edgar Kaufmann Sr. in Pittsburgh, and eventually gifted to the Victoria and Albert Museum by Edgar Kaufmann Jr. in 1974. It was displayed in the museum’s main entrance for several months that year before going into store. This is an original poster produced by the V&A to mark that occasion.

The Kaufmanns were Wright’s most significant patrons. Fallingwater. The office. A relationship that defined the last chapter of organic architecture in America. Kaufmann Jr. spent his life stewarding that legacy — donating both to institutions that could hold them properly. This poster is a direct trace of that act.

Mounted to hardboard and heat sealed by Art et Cetera, Oxford — a period framing intervention, original label intact on the reverse.

Image in very good condition. No blistering to the coating. Some light bumping to the board edges, not affecting the image.
